The Grand Tasting
The Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa, a Marriott Resort and a Four Star property, serves as a most beautiful setting for one of the most prestigious wine events in North Florida, the Grand Tasting. This event, in its seventh year offers an unparalleled opportunity to sample some of the best wine from around the world. Wines from California, New York, Oregon, Washington and other U.S. states will be joined by those from some of the top producing countries in the world: France, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Australia, South Africa, Germany, Chile and Portugal.
With signature glass in hand, head over and sample the signature dishes of ten of our area's finest specialty and gourmet restaurants. The Jazz Trio from University of North Florida's jazz program – No. 1 in the U.S. – will entertain you during the afternoon. While tasting, also check out the silent auction which features weekend getaways, gourmet dining, gift baskets and cultural event tickets paired with some extraordinary wines.
